Anniversary Luncheon Celebration

The latest addition to our annual fundraising event schedule is our Annual Luncheon. This event was held for the first time in November 2002 in celebration of Respite Care’s 15th Anniversary. The luncheon was such a success, a similar event will be held each year. The luncheon features a respected speaker, familiar throughout the community, who delivers an inspirational message.

Gala Dinner

Our annual Gala Dinner, “A Celebration of Love and Children”, is held each spring. This event is held in honor of the children we care for and those who have touched their lives throughout the years through their generous gifts and support. Guests enjoy dinner and music in a relaxed, casual atmosphere. There is always a large selection of silent auction items to bid on throughout the evening, and things really heat up during the live auction for premier items!

Birdies for Charity

The Birdies for Charity campaign is a fund-raising program that gives participating organizations the opportunity to generate contributions through the Valero Texas Open at La Cantera. Nearly 170 South Texas non-profit organizations - 70 percent in San Antonio - participate each year.
