What an absolutely magical evening we had last Thursday! Our annual fundraiser, “A Night for the Children,” brought together an incredible community of supporters, and we’re still glowing from the warmth and generosity we witnessed.
There’s something truly special about watching a community unite for a common cause. As we looked around the room Thursday night, we saw familiar faces and new friends, all gathered with one shared purpose – supporting the children and families who mean the world to us at Respite Care.
The evening was full of laughter, meaningful conversations, and the kind of connections that remind us why we do this work. Every person who attended didn’t just show up for an event; they showed up for our children and families, demonstrating that caring for our community’s most vulnerable is a responsibility we all share.
While “A Night for the Children” helps raise crucial funds for our programs, it represents something even more valuable – it shows our families that they have an entire community standing behind them.
