We’d like to give a huge thank you to our wonderful volunteers from Nielsen Media! They took time out of their busy schedules to assist with Respite Care’s “35 Days Around the World” summer program for the children in our care with special needs.
The children in our Emergency Children’s Homes spent their vacation playing and learning about ecosystems and the animals and people who live in them, thousands of miles away from our San Antonio.
Here is a closeup on their first week of class, featuring Antarctica. You can see some of our friends from Nielsen Media helping the children build igloos with frosting and marshmallows.

The children in our Davidson Respite Home were treated to in-house haircuts this month by the stylists of Pure Posh Salon.
We’re so thankful for the patience and care these ladies took with each of our residents!

Geebo the Clown came into town the week of June 22nd with his menagerie of animals. The children in our Developmental Daycare program were delighted with his slight of hand tricks and furry friends!
We can’t wait to catch his show again next year.
